Yes definitely call them
Not sure call restaurant
Closed on Monday
The food was good, however, the service was excessively slow.
Food was great. Space is small call for a reservation
Absolutely delicious! Best stuffed artichoke I've ever had. Great cozy atmosphere. Staff is very attentive. BYOB is excellent so you don't break the bank going out for a nice dinner.
The best food! Only problem was the waitress we had was terrible. Rather snippy, wouldn't check to see if a vegetable could be substituted for an expensive meal. She never checked back to see if our meals were alright.
Good food good ambiance good value
Delicious food. Great service. Great value
Amazing food. Good service. Food takes a little long but it is all made to order fresh which explains why. Well worth the wait though as you can taste the freshness in every bite.
Had Eggplant Rollatini.....excellent! My lady had pork chop.....superb! It's a BYOB place so the wine is always perfect. There was a line waiting for tables when we left so obviously very popular with those in the know. A well kept secret!
Horrible Horrible!!!!! Would never go to this restaurant again! Went to celebrate a family members birthday. The service was horrible, the whole restaurant was very dirty. We waiting along time for very fair food. We waited a very long time our dinners. One of our guests received their steak dinner and a roach crawled out of his meal. The waitress came over and acted like this happens all the time 😳😳. Asked if he wanted another meal. We all were grossed out and attempted to not ruin the evening. He said alright. Not one management people approached our table to apologize. Instead the decided to charge us for the meal and my granddaughter asked why they wouldn’t comp his meal. The waitress and owner became extremely combative and almost start a fight. This place is disgusting on all levels. Never, never again😡
Excellent food!! Calamari was nice and tender, scallops delicious
The food was very good. It's a small place and hard to see from the average passerby. The prices are good and the staff friendly. Definitely the best Italian fare in the area.
The food was amazing and each course was served within a reasonable amount of time, never felt rushed and never had to wait for staff. It was a really nice night out. Only thing (and I didn't take any star away for it) is it's not really geared for parties of two, you can't make a reservation unless it's four or more and there's only a couple of two person tables. They'll set you at a four person if there is not a reservation, but we found that all four seaters were booked. We'll definitely go again, but next time we'll bring friends :)
We will definitely be coming back here again! You really need to make a reservation. We turned up without a reservation and waited 10 minutes and were given a table. I think if you do make a reservation turn up on time otherwise you'll lose the table. The service was a little slow but service was excellent. The food was definitely the best we've had in years. The lamb was cooked to perfection and was delicious with the gorgonzola sauce. Everything tasted amazing.
Place is horrible and owner is beyond disrespectful! Got into an altercation with my 16 year old son in front of all the patrons in the restaurant. Will never eat there again and recommend that if you do, you do not speak to the owner as he is highly confrontational!!Food is average and definitely not worth the aggravation!
Food is always great. The veal is so tender.
Pretty good food, service is lacking. BYOB
Best Italian in the area. Great service.
two thumbs up!! Great service and Food...our go to is the chicken parm but the pasta fish and Veal are also very tasty.
Good food. I ended up taking alot of it home- large servings. Good service but a bit slow waiting for my bill.
Food was good..service was to be desired waitress was not even apologetic that things were slow ..the answer was were busy arrived 630 didn't receive salads for over an hour then received entrees at 815..she disappeared constantly even waited 15minutes for a check..she even told us she worked for the chef on and off for 20 years ..she should know service is part of the experience with many restaurants to choose from
HORRIBLE!! Food was ok but the service was terrible, took forever. And to top off the 2 hours of waiting there was a bug that CRAWLED out of my brother’s food. We talked to the owner and he told us that he should have sat there and ate nothing rather than get a new meal. Then he basically threatened to fight my brother. Terrible!
Love this restaurant! Always a first choice when my husband and I are wanting Italian style food
The wait was extremely long for our food to come out
Such tasty food and reasonable prices. All of the staff is so personable.
Very pleasant. Good service. Quality food. 3rd time this week we have been there.
Fantastic restaurant. One of the best in New Jersey. Ross, the head chef, had been cooking for my family at his various restaurants for 30 years. He is one of the best Italian chefs ever. And I say that as an extremely picky Italian eater! Definitely eat here
Best stuffed artichokes! Highly recommend!
Best Italian restaurant in the state. Great service as well.
Go to place when everything else gets so old, and great for a date. Not one dish you can go wrong with. Only place in the triboro you can get nice italian without cheap canned red sauce slopped all over everything. Prices are fair. You'll spend more at Applebees. Sangiorgios is highly recommended.
Pretty good. Little slow but overall a good experience
Tasty food but hard to find.
We try to go once a month. Best BYOB in the area. The wait staff have all been there for years and very friendly. The rack of lamb with gorgonzola is delicious! We always get the stuffed artichoke. I have never tasted a stuffed artichoke as good as here. I wish they would expand and make the restaurant bigger! It is a hidden gem.
My go to restaurant. I bring my friends and family there always because they have absolutely delicious food and a cozy atmosphere. The only hard part is deciding what to order. I love the double cut Pork Chop and the Pollo Lucio (chicken with baked potato crust on top) or sometimes the home made pasta or the Liver Anthony (with bacon and onions). I like to start with an artichoke or mussels or raw shellfish or one of the special salad appetizers. It's all good!
Food was very good. Had to wait about an hour for it.
Good food Not the bestbut acceptable
Excellent food and at a reasonable price. Great service!
We were there with a table of nine. Cockroaches in my boyfriends food! No manager came out to apologize. When we got our bill nothing was comped! When approached about it I was told I had to go to the back to talk to the manager who sat in a chair. Then the waiter proceeded to yell and tried to physically fight my boyfriend! Whatever you do do not go here. These people are horrific.
Always good quality food.
Food is good. Servings are large. Service is "relaxed". Not in a rush to go back
Food is always great but the service is always terrible. Which is the reason, we never come here. It's been 10 years & it's always been the same. And it will never change because it's always packed. Even take-out is an 1 & 1/2 hour wait. We were here on Saturday & it took 25 minutes to get a menu. Although the food is good, the wait is not worth it.
Great food! Byob with a liquor store above and nice outdoor seating area. Inside is a little small so I recommend calling ahead.
Absolutely Delicious! Best stuffed artichoke I have ever had. Cozy atmosphere, attentive staff and a perfect menu for all tastes. It's our go to restaurant most weekends. The BYOB is the icing on the cake. It makes it so affordable. We have yet to find a place that compares.
Cozy and delicious! I loved the stuffed artichoke and the pork chops. The cooking was excellent. The meat was browned just right with crisp seasoning on the surface and the side vegetables and potatoes were sauteed perfectly.
Very good food. Although service is very slow and not attentive
Always a good time. Only problem is that they don't usually take reservations for two people.
Hidden behind/beneath Kinnelon Country Liquors. San Giorgio's has really great Italian food, which makes this place quite popular among the locals. It is BYOB so the liquor store above the restaurant is very convenient. It is usually very busy on the weekends. They do not accept reservations for parties of two, three or more, only. It's worth the wait.I've never had a bad meal here. They have your traditional Italian dishes, have a great steak, fresh seafood, veal chops and nice pasta dishes. Don't go if you are in a rush. It's slow paced dining and when they're busy, the kitchen can take a little longer.
Great food and atmosphere.
Good food but place needs a complete renovation. Carpet makes place stink when you first walk in and bathrooms are okd and dank...
We went back recently after few years & was very disappointed . Still no welcoming hostess & had to wait to be seat it .Service was better than before but food use to be really so much better !Wont go back there !
Old schoo small Italian bistro very good food.
